6 Week Update

It is hard to believe little Cole is 6 weeks old!!! It is even harder to believe my maternity leave is over in 2 short weeks. However, I am so thankful that I am able to stay out for two additional weeks-they will just be unpaid : /

This week, Cole and Mommy had our first outings alone! Last Friday, we had to run into Walgreens before heading to Lewes for dinner at Grammie and Grandpa's house. Cole did  great!!! He was well-behaved at Grammie and Grandpa's so it was a wonderful visit :) Cole has started smiling more and more when spoken to, which is just heart-melting! He enjoyed watching his Daddy and Uncles decorate the Christmas tree.

This Monday Cole had his first stay with Miss Kelly, his daycare provider for this school year. She watched him for two hours while I stopped into school to have lunch and a Secret Santa exchange with my teammates. I thought I would be a nervous wreck leaving him for the first time. However, with the exception of a few tears when I pulled away, I did better than expected. Cole was fine with Miss Kelly and was quite the little piggy, drinking BOTH bottles that I left! He slept the whole way home and even through a trip to Food Lion. By the time all of our errands were finished, Mommy was exhausted from being out and about most of the day-I'm not used to this these days.
Daddy was worn out from working in the wind all day, Cole was worn out from his big day out with Mommy! :)

Today, on Cole's six week birthday, I decided to try out Cole napping in his crib for the first time. He takes short cat naps all day long so he only lasted in there 20 minutes but hey, that is a start. The whole time he was in there, I pretty much stared at the video monitor, haha. I feel like a crazy person staring at the screen 2 inches from my face trying to see if his chest is rising and falling! How am I going to stand him sleeping in there all night!!! : / Tonight we are having dinner at Uncle Mike's, so we will have another adventure out. We also have a big holiday weekend planned and will update with plenty of pictures next week I'm sure! Dave, Cole, and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and safe travels!
Daddy thinks this outfit looks like a "Mrs. Claus" shirt, but I don't, I couldn't resist putting him in it!!!

Also couldn't resist snapping a pic of his Phillies socks :)

5 Weeks Old!

Cole met a lot of family members and family friends this week and had his first sleepover!! We stayed at Gigi and Pops' House for the first time this past weekend. We first visited with the Wilkinson side of the family at Aunt Donna's house. We were so excited to show Cole off to everyone! He got a chance to meet his great-great-grandmother, Nannie, and his new cousin Reese, who is 2 months older. It was so great seeing everyone and Cole was on his best behavior! He slept the entire time we were there (this is not the norm). He was even sleepy during his feeding times (this is definitely not the norm). He also got to meet Mom-Mom, his great-grandmother, and lots of other family members this weekend.

Worn out from partying!

Cole did a great job sleeping at Gigi and Pops' house and a pretty good job during the long car ride there and home. The trip is about an hour and 45 minutes. Both ways, he slept for all but about 20 minutes of the trip, then he was hungry and not happy. But, luckily we didn't have much farther to go.
I received Cole's Christmas card outfit in the mail Saturday and am hoping to do a photo shoot sometime this week so I can get the cards in the mail. I ordered the outfit off of etsy.com and it was handmade by a nice lady in Canada so it took a while to get here! I'm glad I didn't go ahead and order it BEFORE he was born because I'm sure I would have ordered too small of a size! He wore a 3-6 month outfit this past weekend and it was only a tiny bit too big for him!

We decorated Cole's first Christmas tree this week. I can't wait to see how he reacts to the lights as he becomes more alert everyday. He loves looking at our ceiling fan and light so I'm sure he'll love the lights on the tree! :)
Tail end of a smile...do you see the slight dimple!? :)

Making a funny face but, only pic I could get with the tree...so far

One Month Old!!!!

Can't believe my baby boy is one month old already!!! Where did the time go??  Let's see, here is the rundown:
Sleep: Cole is a great sleeper at night! Once we put him down he can usually go up to 5 and a 1/2 to 6 hours without waking to feed. There were a few weeks where the doctor wanted us to wake him every three hours because he was not up to birth weight. This killed me!!! I hated my alarm going off and rolling over to see him sound asleep and having to wake him!!! However, it got him back up to his birth weight. Dave and I discussed it and we decided now that he is at his appropriate weight, we are letting him (and me) sleep more. We are aiming to wake him every 4 and a 1/2 to 5 hours although sometimes my snooze button gets hit and its a tad longer :/. He doesn't seem to mind though! After his long stretch of sleep at night, he usually goes another 3-4 hours and then I'm up for the day. He usually falls fast asleep after his "first" feeding of the day. If I was smart I would use this time to shower and get myself ready. However, I usually keep snuggling him and end up dozing off myself or I use the time to scarf down breakfast and catch up on dishes.

During the day and early evening, Cole fights sleep like no other. He doesn't like to miss anything that is going on (much like his Mother :)) He will be just yawning away and eyes rolled in the back of his head one second and the next screaming. Once he is swaddled and a pacifier in, he falls right to sleep! He naps anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, we don't have a schedule yet!! All in due time!

Eating: Cole is an eating machine!!! I plan for him eating every two hours during the day, however, its more like every hour and a half to every hour and 45 minutes. When the boy is hungry, there is no satisfying him unless he is eating!!! Instead of a certain schedule, I am basically just feeding him on demand, especially while he was trying to get back up to birth weight. During weeks 2-3 I was nursing on the left side and pumping the right while my right side healed up a bit. This gave us a chance to stock up on some milk in the fridge and freezer. After I healed, I started nursing on both sides again. Now, I'm pumping an average of 3 times a day. In the morning, he usually only nurses off of one side, so I pump the other. When Dave gets home from work he feeds Cole a bottle and I pump both sides. In the middle of the night Cole seems to only nurse one side as well, so I pump the other. I get anywhere from 1.5 to 3 ounces on one side, it depends on the time of day. I'm a bit anxious to figure out a pumping schedule before I have to go back to work. I'm not sure when I will have time to pump since he is nursing all the time! However, I need to stock up the fridge and freezer!

Diaper Size: Cole is wearing a size 1 diaper. We just gave up the newborns during week 3, they were getting very snug! Now we just fold down the top of the size ones, even though we probably don't need to since his umbilical cord is gone! He gets his diaper changed after every feeding and sometimes more than that! I have gotten peed on and so has the wall during a few diaper changes but Daddy has been safe!

Clothes Size: Cole pretty much skipped the newborn size. He wears all 0-3 months stuff. There are a few pairs of newborn pants he can fit into though. Most of our clothes are Carter's brand and their 0-3 months has fit well. Some other off brands in 0-3 are too tight in the shoulders and are a CHALLENGE to get off and on so even though they are ADORABLE, I've given up on them. We also gave up on the Gerber 0-3 months onesies! They are incredibly tight! Our favorite onesies are the Faded Glory brand from Walmart because they are nice and loose around the head so it makes them easy to get on and off. We are changing clothes a lot lately because Cole has had quite a bit of spit up! It seems as though the second I get his arms through a shirt, he spits up and I have to change him again! Some days I go through 4 shirts in a matter of 10 minutes! I never knew we'd be doing so much laundry! His and ours because not only do his clothes get spit up on but ours too!

Other Fun Facts:
* At Cole's last doctor's appointment (around 3 weeks old) he was up to 10 pounds 13 ounces (1 ounce less than birth weight).

*At birth, Cole had a slight heart murmur, which the doctor's didn't seem worried about (however, Mommy and Daddy were!). Before we left the hospital he had an EKG and the results were sent to AI Dupont. Our pediatrician reviewed the results with us and said it was nothing to worry about (I can't remember exactly what type of valve opening she said he had). At our last appointment (around 3 weeks) she said she couldn't hear the murmur anymore!! :) We will continue to ask about it at his future appointments though, just to be sure!

*Cole is most alert after his second feeding of the day, however, this can vary. This is when we usually do tummy time. He doesn't seem to mind it too much!

*Like I said previously, he has been spitting up frequently. Some days its after every feeding, others its only a few times a day. The pediatrician says it is normal and as long as he's gaining weight, we shouldn't worry about it yet. It is a hassle though because we go through so many clothes, bibs, burp cloths, and changing pad covers! It also frustrates me because I feel like all the time I spent nursing is wasted because he loses everything he ate! I've been reading a lot about it and I'm wondering if I have a fast let down and he is getting too much milk at first. I'm also trying to keep him upright for at least 15 minutes after he eats and getting a few good burps out of him (which is impossible sometimes)!
* Cole seems to enjoy bath time! Daddy has been the primary bath giver, and does a great job with it. We are still mostly doing baths with a squirt bottle on a towel like in the hospital. We have used the big tub once but it was kind of awkward to use (I think because we are so used to the other way).

*Mommy and Daddy are slowly adjusting to parenting life! With Dave back to work, Cole and I have been by ourselves during the day. We don't have much of a schedule yet, so some days are smoother than others! Some days I am showered and the house is straightened when Dave gets home, other days I am still in pajamas and the house looks like a tornado hit it! Poor Dave has been very tired when he gets home from work. Although he doesn't have to get up to feed Cole during the night, I know it still wakes him up when I have to get up. I try my best to be quiet but sometimes he still wakes up. I usually try to take a quick nap with Cole in the afternoons, that is when I am the most tired. I still haven't ventured out on my own with Cole! I've been out a few times on my own while Dave has Daddy/Baby time and it has definitely felt weird! I'm sure it will feel even more odd when I am out on my own with Cole!

4 Week Update

4 Week Update:
Mommy had her first doctor's appointment since Cole's birth on Tuesday! Everything went great, incision is wonderful, and I've lost 35 pounds! Granted, 11 of those pounds were Cole himself! But, I'll take what I can get! I'm back into pre-pregnancy pants and tops but my tummy doesn't look like it used to! I'll get there though!
I'll post more on Cole in my one-month update!!!
Here are some pics from this week:

Cole's First 3 Weeks!

Silly me for thinking I'd be able to update my blog weekly with a newborn! :) I will try my best from here on out to update as much as I can in the future!
First, I CANNOT believe how FAST these three weeks have flown by! We always say our week of vacation in the summer goes by like a flash, well these weeks have gone by even FASTER if that is possible! Let's see..where do I begin?

Week 1:
After a wonderful stay at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, we brought Cole home on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Our neighbor and friend, Jaime, decorated the outside of the house and Gigi was eagerly awaiting our arrival! Our first visitors at the house were our friends Eric and Lauri. The next day, Crystal and Lexi drove down to spend the afternoon with us. Saturday, Pops came back down to spend the weekend. Anne came over with her youngest daughter, Emily (3 months old), to meet her future husband, Cole :) We had a wonderful family dinner that night with both sides of the family. Dave's dad, Grandpa, made a beautiful toast and we indulged in a special champagne. Sadly, Gigi and Pops had to leave on Sunday, all three of us were very sad to see them go. Luckily, Thanksgiving was right around the corner so they would be back soon. Mimi came to visit us and help out Tuesday-Thursday of that week. Cole had plenty of snuggle time rocking with her!
On our way home!
Gigi was waiting!

Week 2:
During Mimi's visit, we decided to take a road trip to see Aunt Becky and Uncle Eddie. Cole made out great in the car but was a little fussy during our actual visit. All he wanted to do was eat (little did I know this was the start of a feeding frenzy that is still going on!) Cole also had his first doctor's appointment this week. We were very pleased with the doctor's office and the nurses and doctor we met with. Cole had gained 8 ounces since leaving the hospital. Because he was still 6 ounces away from his birth weight, we were scheduled to go back a week later for a weight check. We had many other visitors this week (Krystle and Scarlet, Cruz and Lauri, Melissa, the Boyer family) and also celebrated Dave's 29th birthday!! Sadly, as this week ended, so did Dave's leave from work :( We spent all day Sunday just the three of us and enjoyed every second. I honestly DO NOT know how I would have survived without Dave those first two weeks! He is such a HUGE HELP!!
Another day...another girlfriend, Krystle's daughter Scarlet

Week 3:
Cole and I survived our first week home without Daddy (thank goodness it was only 3 days b/c of the Thanksgiving holiday!). We had some trying times this week. Cole has been very fussy during random times of the day and seems to be totally miserable unless he is eating. However, I feed him, and then he spits up....A LOT so it is has been challenging, to say the least. However, I know I have a huge support system in Dave, my family, and friends so that has helped when I have become frustrated and emotional! This week my breastfeeding difficulties did get a little better thankfully! I was really struggling for the first 2 weeks with a lot of pain. I decided it was best to pump some of the time and that seemed to allow me time to heal and it is getting easier as time goes on. People are absolutely telling the truth when they say breastfeeding doesn't necessarily come "naturally"! It definitely takes patience and perseverance! We enjoyed Thanksgiving at Joan and Phil's house with both sides of the family. This was different than our usual Thanksgiving routine but, was equally as wonderful. Cole got to sport his many Turkey Day outfits and we enjoyed watching a touching DVD of pictures that my mom put together for us. Friday, Cole had his follow-up doctor's appointment. Unfortunately he had only gained one ounce since the previous week. So, the doctor suggested we start waking Cole up at least every three hours throughout the night to try to get his weight up. Previously, I only fed Cole when he woke during the night. He would go a 5-6 hour stretch, and then a 4 hour stretch. Friday night we started this new routine and Saturday was the best day Cole has had in the last week and a half. I am hoping this new feeding schedule helps his fussiness during the day. Dave and Dad got the outside of the house all decorated for Christmas and Mom, Mimi, and I worked on the inside. Actually, it was more like Mom and Mimi decorating and me feeding a hungry baby all day! I am so thankful they were here to help us. We enjoyed the beautiful weather both Saturday and Sunday by taking our first few trips outdoors. We took our first stroller ride around the neighborhood and also went to tag our Christmas tree! I cannot believe it is already DECEMBER!!!!

Cole's Birth Story

Monday, November 7, 2011:
After having contractions on and off all day Sunday and throughout Sunday night, they seemed to subside Monday morning. They were only coming on when I changed position or walked around, so I stayed still! Dave went ahead and went to work for the morning and was going to be home around noon for my doctor's appointment at 2:15. Around eleven, the pain became constant. I wasn't sure if it was contractions or not because there was no rhythm to them, it was just constant pain. I just kept thinking, "I'm such a wimp", I'm not even in labor yet! (little did I know I was!). I debated calling the doctor and asking if I should go to the hospital or just come in to my appointment. Dave and I decided I would just wait for my appointment and go from there. To be safe, we took our hospital bags with us when we left!

Although I love my doctor, I have never had a "quick" appointment because of the long wait time. My appointment was at 2:15 and I didn't get to see the doctor until about 3:45. This was not a fun hour and a half with constant contractions! Luckily, Dave rubbed my back and was there to support me. The doctor examined me and told us to get ready because I was 5 centimeters dilated! We were shocked! Just yesterday I was only 2 and making zero progress! I guess all those contractions were doing their job! Dave called my mom and told her to go ahead and come down! I think we were all a bit worried they wouldn't make it in time considering I was half-way dilated! We arrived at the hospital and got all checked in.

Next, they told us to walk the halls to get things going. We walked for about an hour or so and got checked then told to walk again! As we were walking, mom and Mimi arrived! Once everyone was settled the doctor told me to go ahead and get in bed because my blood tests showed elevated levels of something (sorry I don't remember) which could cause my blood pressure to rise.

The contractions got worse and worse as Dad, Joan, and Phil arrived to wish me well. Mom and Dave were very supportive as I struggled through them. Then, they decided to break my water to get things moving along. Turns out Cole already had a bowel movement so my fluid had meconium, which they said not to worry about, but I did anyway! They also started me on pitocin to try to get more regular, stronger contractions. I watched on the screen as each one came  and lasted longer and longer! When they were so painful I couldn't watch anymore, Mom and Dave would tell me when the worst part was over. After one particular contraction that went off the chart and lasted twice as long as the rest had, I decided it was time for the epidural!

I hadn't been dilating quickly, so I figured it would be a long haul and I would need some pain relief. Boy, could I kiss that anesthesiologist on the mouth! I was a new woman when he was done!!!! We were hoping it would relax my body enough to help me dilate but still, stuck at 6-7 cm. The doctor told me she could feel Cole's head and she could tell there was still A LOT more of it. This concerned her because I was not dilating and he was VERY BIG. That's when a c-section was mentioned. After monitoring me for a little while longer and seeing no progress, Dave was told to put on his scrubs!

In no time I was being wheeled to the operating room with Dave by my side. We passed the whole family waiting for us and they wished me well. I grew more nervous as we went down each hallway. I began feeling nauseated as well. I think this was a combination of nerves and low blood sugar. Dave had to wait in a separate room as they prepped me. He says it felt like FOREVER and was afraid they forgot to come back and get him. Once all was ready, he joined me.

Tuesday November 8, 2011: 12:45am: In what seemed like 30 seconds, Colton Ray Williamson was born! It was all happening so fast and I was a whirlwind of emotions and feelings! I was feeling pretty sick and also drowsy due to the medicine. I heard the doctor say "there is a lot of baby to get out of here!" Dave stood up to watch and said he couldn't believe how big Cole was! The doctor swore he was 11 pounds or over, I thought he was just kidding us! (he was really 10 pounds 14 oz)!! He started crying half-way from me to the table where the nurse's were cleaning him off. That was the best sound I could ever imagine hearing! They brought him to me for a kiss and then Daddy and Cole were off to the nursery as I headed into recovery.

Unfortunately, I was so drowsy and out of it from the medicine that I didn't get to see Cole for a few hours after birth :( But, Daddy stayed with him the whole time and held his little hand. I finally got to hold Cole around 4am and I will never forget it!

I can't believe I have a son and I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who is already the perfect father!

Here come the contractions!

Saturday 11/5/11: 4:00pm: Took a long walk around the neighborhood with Jaime. By the end, my stomach was HARD as a rock and very uncomfortable! Around 7pm I started having a constant menstrual cramp feeling. This lasted all night and kept me awake.
Sunday 11/6/11: 4:00am: Finally came out to lay on the couch to see if that would help my pain. Decided to start watching the clock, cramping/contractions were coming every 5 minutes. Waited 45 minutes, still the same, so I got in the shower and got last minute things in my bag. Woke Dave up. Straightened up the house a little, packed the car and headed out around 6:30. On the way there I noticed my contractions weren't as regular anymore. Hooked me up to the monitors and sure enough I was having contractions but they were not very strong (they felt strong enough to me!) and were becoming irregular. Examined me and I was 2cm dialated. Had me walk the halls for an hour. By the end of that hour I was MISERABLE. I just wanted to lay down. When I did, contractions were far and few between. Checked me again and no change in my cervix. So, we got sent home. We were home by 10, ate lunch, and napped the rest of the day. My contractions were tolerable the rest of the day and really only hurt bad when I changed positions. Then, just about the time I was ready to lay down for bed, they started coming again every 10 minutes. This lasted until about 4am, and they were more severe than Saturday night. Needless to say, I was miserable and just kept thinking, oh my gosh, these are only going to get WORSE! :( I really thought I'd have more pain tolerance than this. As of this morning around 4-5am, they started to die down and I got a little sleep. Now they are only coming when I change position.

Last update before Cole is here?!?

Yet again, another update...
As I write this I wonder if it will be the last time I blog about my pregnancy. The next entry could very well be Cole's Birth Story!
I'll start with my doctor's appointment on Tuesday afternoon. Dr. Cabrera was still pleased with my swelling improvement. However, he is still concerned about the size of baby boy! I'm measuring a week ahead and the doctor refers to him as "very good size" and tells me it will be a "tight fit"! YIKES! Because of this he has suggested we make plans for an induction after my appointment on Monday 11/7, if I make it that long. In the meantime, I am planning on walking in the afternoons with my neighbor Jaime to try to get things moving. I am thinking Friday will be my last day at work. I could technically go for a half-day Monday but for my own peace of mind, I'd like to have that day to get last-minute things in order if need be. Plus, it would be a clean transition for my substitute to start on her own on a Monday. (By the way, my substitute is a super-star, I am SO THANKFUL)
TMI alert ahead...
Today I called the doctor because I was concerned about some "leakage" I was having. I know it is normal for women to have some leakage late in their pregnancy, rather it be bladder control (gross I know) or discharge (again, gross). However, I also knew it could possibly be my water breaking in a slow trickle. Everything I read says to call if you are concerned, so I did. They told me to just go straight to the ER! Dave was working in Dover and I was still in Denton at the time. I was not having any contractions and the leakage hadn't gotten any worse so we were certain it was not an emergency (it wasn't). I assumed I would have to sit and wait for a while in the waiting room but to my surprise, they took me right up to labor and delivery and hooked me up to monitors right away. Cole's heart rate was strong and I enjoyed listening to it for the two hours I was there :) After an exam, and some tests, turns out the fluid was just my mucus plug "melting" away. The nurse explained that some women lose their mucus plug in one big glob, others have a slow "melting" that is watery...which would be what mine is doing. They monitored me for about another hour and sent me home. Overall, it was an interesting experience. I assumed I would be panicking and overly emotional, especially heading there on my own, without Dave. I surprised myself and stayed calm and collected (this could be because I was fairly certain I was not in labor yet). I pray I stay calm when I go back the next time for the "real" thing! Dave is finally packing his bag tonight, he adjusted the car seat so it is perfect, and we are just waiting!
So, until Monday's appointment, or until Cole decides to come on his own, I will be napping, or walking :)

39 Week Update

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 39 Weeks.....down to the wire

Baby Stats:
Cole is waiting to greet the world! He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds (probably more!) The outer layers of his skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
**info. from www.babycenter.com**

Movement: movement has decreased a little because he has little room to move in there

Sleep: the worst it has been :(

Symptoms: swelling has gone down significantly now that I'm working half days! My tummy does get sore and tight when he shifts from side to side though.

What I Miss: Wearing my Fall/Winter shoes! I look at them every morning and think my feet will squeeze in but no such luck! I know most people hate the big chunky crocs but I was at least looking forward to wearing those b/c they are comfortable and I don't even fit into those!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope my feet haven't changed FOREVER!!!

Best Moment of the Week: Dave has been working a side job some nights and most weekends so I haven't had a lot of down time to spend with him :(. The nasty weather on Saturday put a wrench in his plans but at least he got to spend the day at home with me! I just kept thinking how it could be the LAST weekend we have alone together! That is just wild! I've had 39 weeks to let it sink in but sometimes it still amazes me that this baby will actually be out in the real world VERY soon!!!!!

38 Week Update Continued

Went to the doctor today and he was pleased that my swelling had gotten better however, still wants me to work half days from now on. I am happy with this decision because it won't eat into my sick time as much, and it will be a great transition period for my long-term substitute, students, and I with me teaching in the morning and her taking over in the afternoon!

When doc was feeling my tummy before taking Cole's heartbeat he said "my, you definitely have a big one in here" I believe he even used the word chunky!!! While he was taking the heartbeat Cole was trying his hardest to get away from him but there is no where to go, it was quite interesting to watch him moving around!

I am one cm dialated and he said baby is VERY low and in -2 station, which means he is engaged but not fully engaged in the pelvis (that would be 0 station, I believe)

Dave asked how much longer he thinks we have and he said he would guess about a week! I am perfectly fine with that! I'd love to make it to the first week of November!!

38 Week Update

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 38 weeks (only TWO WEEKS until my due date!!! Wow!)

Baby Stats:
Cole has really plumped up. He weighs about 6.8 pounds (probably larger according to doctor) and he's over 19 1/2 inches long. He has a firm grasp, which I'll soon be able to test when I hold his hand for the first time! His organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.
**info. from www.babycenter.com**

Movement: Still lots of movement, I've noticed a lopsided tummy more often this week.

Sleep: not getting any better

Symptoms: have had a few contractions but nothing alarming; the swelling in my feet/ankles has gone down because I sat with my feet elevated for about 3 days straight! Today I was back at work for a full day and they are a little swollen again but nothing compared to last week! I hope to stay off them the rest of the night so they look better before the doctor's tomorrow!

What I Miss: My Mom and Mimi! They came down for my school baby shower on Thursday afternoon and stayed until Saturday afternoon. It was a great visit and we certainly accomplished a lot! My house has NEVER been this clean! I can't thank them enough for all they did! I always hate seeing my family leave but this time when they return I will be in LABOR!!!!!!

Best Moment of the Week: I had a great baby shower at school last Thursday! I am blessed to work with such caring people. We received a lot of gift cards which will come in handy and I finally got my Vera Bradley diaper bag thanks to Mom, Mimi, and Joan! I LOVE it! Mimi also knitted Cole a precious blue blanket. It is so special and is already in the car seat awaiting the ride home from the hospital! :) A dear friend, Ria, also made an AMAZING diaper cake that I can't even THINK about taking apart. It is currently on display in Cole's room and will probably be for a LONG time! I find something new on it every time I look at it! She is amazing!

Seriously, how cute is this????

Some decals we added and the curtain!

Now I can carry diapers and wipes in style :)
Stay tuned for tomorrow's update after my doctor's appointment!!! I need to get a recent belly pic up here too, hopefully I won't be taking one in a hospital gown tomorrow evening!!!
